Like many people, you may be looking for an easy way to legally earn $500 a month on top of your current income. Supplementing your paycheck has never been easier because of technology and the internet. If you’ve browsed online, you may be discouraged because most of your searches could have led you to shady websites that try to sell you stuff you don’t want, need or understand. I’ll break down my easy method to earn $500 or more per month with no out of pocket investment needed.

Become an Online Freelancer

Elance is a website that connects contractors with clients online. You can sign up for a free account that will allow you start bidding today. Elance’s platform ensures that your clients must give you adequate instructions, pay you fairly and pay you quickly. Elance is one of the most trusted freelancing marketplaces on the internet.

Once you register as a contractor, you must attend Elance’s Online University training program which educates you on how the site works. Even though they call it a university, the Elance crash course only takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. I highly recommend paying attention during this mini training series. Elance University will answer 99% of your questions before you are able to ask them.

One of the most common questions asked by new prospective Elance contractors is “How do I know that I’m going to get paid for my work?” The client will need to put money into an Elance escrow account and the funds are released immediately upon the mutual agreement of the completion of the project. I’ve linked my savings account with Elance and all of earnings are deposited into that account within 24 hours of the transfer request. There are other cash out methods as well such as a Prepaid Mastercard, a paper check, or a wire transfer.

Once you are fully registered and you’ve graduated Elance University, I’d recommend filling out your Elance profile. After all, if you were going to hire someone online to help you out with your work, wouldn’t you want to know as much about that person as possible? You can begin bidding on projects that fit your skill set. Just click “Find Work” and “Search Jobs” and you can begin working for clients on Elance today.

The job categories currently offered by Elance are:

IT & Programming

Design & Multimedia

Writing & Translation

Sales & Marketing

Admin Support

Engineering & Manufacturing

Finance & Management

Legal

If you are able to provide any of these types of services to companies online, go ahead and sign up for Elance so that you can start earning and saving money today. I’ve managed to earn $300-$500 per month since signing up for Elance just by writing blog articles for webmasters who seek fresh, new content for their website. Perhaps Elance could enable you to earn up to $500 a month to help supplement your income.

Did you know that the New York Giants team holds several prestigious records not often talked about by sports analysts? The Giants are known for their multiple Superbowl wins. What is not often talked about when is all of their NFL team records. The New York Giants team records often go back to the beginning of football.

For example, an interesting fact about G-Men is that the New York Giants have finished 1st in their division more times than any other team in NFL history. The Giants also participated in the highest scoring regular season football game in NFL history. Unfortunately for Giants fans, they Giants lost the game. The game was played back in the 1966 season against the rival Washington Redskins and the Giants lost the game with the final score being 72-41. A total of 113 points was scored and that NFL record has stood for well over 40 years. What’s also interesting is that the Giants are tied for the lowest amount of total points scored in an NFL game. With the score being 0-0 and ending in a tie, the Giants and Lions were the last team to accomplish this feat back in the 1943 NFL football season.

The 1932 New York Giants squad is famous for attempting the fewest number of field goals in a season. In fact, the 1932 New York Giants didn’t attempt any field goals. That’s correct, they attempted 0 field goals all season. The 1984 Giants participated in the game that set the NFL record for most safeties scored in a regular season game. That particular game against the Rams totaled 3 safeties by the end of the 4th quarter.

The New York Giants are also tied for the NFL record for most Touchdowns thrown in a single game. This feat was accomplished against the Chicago Bears in 1943. They tied this mark against the Redskins in the 1962 season.

The most embarrassing New York Giants record is a record they have set twice. In 1933 and 1942, the New York Giants played in games in which they did not successfully get 1 first down. They avenged this awful record in 1985 when they lit up the Cincinnati Bengals for 29 passing first downs, an NFL record that still stands today.

With all of the history behind this storied franchise, it won’t surprise anyone if the New York Giants win the NFC Championship and play for the Lombardi trophy in a few weeks in Indianapolis.

With Peyton Manning retiring, it seems as if Andrew Luck might as well move to Indianapolis now. Since Peyton Manning is retiring, the Colts will enter into a new era with a new coach, general manager and quarterback.

Jim Tressel could become the Colts new head coach by the end of this week. This could realistically happenbecause the Colts offense made considerable strides as soon as Tressel became an offensive consultant with the team. Although his duties primarily consisted of reviewing film and preparing offensive game plans, a coach with the credentials like a Jim Tressel doesn’t come along all that often.

There aren’t many eye popping stats that we can pull from the Colts 2011 season. What we can deduct from the 2nd half of the season is that the Colts seemed more competitive and even won a few games after Tressel joined the Colts staff. Remember, Tressel was not allowed to join the team until week 7.

There is very little reason to believe the Colts coaching search will take the front office outside its current coaching staff. Tressel is a prime candidate for this position because he is a proven winner. Tressel has won at any and every level of football that he has coached at. Tressel comes across as a meek Jimmy Johnson. He’s proven that he can communicate with players effectively and win big football games.

If the Colts don’t take a serious look at Tressel, they’d be doing their franchise and fans a huge disservice. Get ready for it AFC South! Jim Tressel could become the Colts new head coach.

If you want to improve the NBA playoffs, you must first realize that the current NBA playoff system is broken and only contributes to a weakened product on court. The current playoff format discourages competition at the end of the season. How? My biggest issue with the NBA is that the players just don’t play tough defense until the end of the game yet during the playoffs they will good defense each and ever game. In the regular season, you’ll have teams that don’t play defense and there is no huge incentive in going for the number 1 seed as long as you can hang around as a 5th, 6th, 7th, or even an 8th seed in the NBA playoffs.

If you want to improve the NBA playoffs, create a best of 3 games play in series for the 5th through 8th seeds. The 5th seed could play the 8th and the 6th seed play the 7th, that’s not really relevant. I propose making them play 3 straight games and rest one then begin the real playoffs. How would the match-ups work from there? The lower seeds would play the higher seeds in the tourney with the lowest ranking team playing the 1 seed the 2 seed playing the next lowest seed and the mid seeds can have a traditional match-up. It would create buzz and drama and give the teams a reason to play better in the regular season which in turn makes for a better on-court product. It gives the players to compete for in each game of the regular season despite the how many games are left.

Let’s say we we’re playing a full NBA season and you have 12 games left in the season. You are a 40-30 team. This team is pretty much in the playoffs if they can just win 4 or 5 more out of 12. Its almost like the NFL does when teams have playoff spots clinched and they rest their starters and save them for the playoffs. If you are competing for a 4 or a 5 seed. It makes things quite interesting at the end of the season.

Just think about it. With my proposals, you can vastly improve the NBA playoffs if you put some creativity in the playoffs and create enormous buzz around the NBA playoffs.

David Stern’s shocking decision to nix the Chris Paul trade basically tells New Orleans Hornets that they aren’t good enough to compete with the rest of the league without him.

Vetoing the Chris Paul trade to Los Angeles for the sole reason of New Orleans ability to do well in a small market is the biggest travesty in professional sports history.

From the way I understand it, Lamar Odom would have went to Hornets and the Hornets were getting draft picks. The Hornets GM okay-ed this deal. The Hornets voluntarily said “Yes” to this deal. Chris Paul may have forced their hand but they were getting decent players in exchange and future draft picks.

This should come as a slap to the face of each of the members of the New Orleans Hornets team. David Stern is telling New Orleans Hornets that they aren’t good enough to win enough games without Chris Paul so he decided to that the deal couldn’t be done.

The Hornets, with or without Chris Paul, will be playing with a chip on their shoulder by this blatant show of disrespect for the other members of the New Orleans Hornets.

Why is everyone so sure that the Lakers
will be dominant with Chris Paul? I’m not taking anything way from the guy, he’s an excellent player, but Kobe is getting old, the Lakers have a new coach, and just like the Heat last year, the Lakers could have a slow start and have issues bringing in a new system, new personnel, a coaching staff and a new philosophy to operate that system in a very short amount of time.

In this shortened NBA season, can you really afford to come out of the gate and not win immediately? Remember when Jordan came back to Bulls as he wore that ugly #45 on his chest and the Bulls didn’t win that year? It was only until the next season that they started the next three-peat.

David Stern is drunk with power. To blatantly insult the New Orleans Hornets and basically say that they aren’t good enough to win without Chris Paul should come as a slap to the face of NBA fans and players of the Hornets organization. The NBA could overtake the NFL and even international soccer as the worlds most popular and beloved game and it’s David Stern’s fault that the sport is not such. Stern does nothing but hold back the sport as a whole with his bonehead, power-drunk decisions.
